Become a volunteer

BECOME A VOLUNTEER. JOIN OUR MENTORSHIP PROGRAM.

As an alumni or friend of Crete-Monee, you can make a significant impact on the lives of current students by giving your time and talents. We need your help to ensure a bright future for the next generations of learners.

VOLUNTEER

There are many ways to get involved at Crete-Monee School District 201-U whether it is tutoring, participating in after-school programming, chaperoning a field trip or student event, or engaging with our sporting events or clubs, there are many options to suit your interests.

COMMUNITY MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

To ensure the success of every student, the district has successfully built-up and developed a community mentorship program that enables volunteers from the surrounding communities to shape and mentor our students. Our motto is “It takes a village to raise a child” and in our case, we have many villages raising our children and this is something we are truly proud of.

Hear what our mentors had to say:

“Since my son attended Crete Monee School District 201-U, I have a desire to foster community spirit and support the youth in my community,” said Janel Geary, mentor and Superintendent of Recreation at the Crete Park District.

“As a mentor of one of the organizers and a father, I feel it is my responsibility to get involved within the community and set a good example for others to see,” said mentor Richard Cobbins Sr.
