Crete-Monee High School has teamed up with the Illinois Department of Agriculture, Illinois Association FFA, and Facilitating Coordination of Agricultural Education to offer AG courses and a new FFA (Future Farmers of America) Chapter in fall 2023.

The returning AG courses include Introduction to Agriculture and Food Science. Students who enroll in the AG courses will automatically become FFA members thanks to a grant from the Illinois Department of Agriculture. The first reference to the FFA Chapter in Crete-Monee Public Schools is in the 1950 Jester. The Crete-Monee FFA Chapter’s last recorded year was in 1972.
